On April 14th, 2012 Growing Roots started a new program- Family Fun Days/ Dias de Familia!

This program will host 7 weekend afternoons of family-friendly accessible fun for Spanish and English-speaking parents enrolled in our programs.

The event will include educational and play-based acitivities for the children, time for parents to better connect with one another and sharing of food in community. And maybe a piñata or two!

This is a powerful way for volunteers to connect with our families.
